Teacher of the Year Reception!

My mom is amazing.
Last Monday we attended a party to celebrate her award, and it was such an honor to be "Mrs. Schepman's family." I took lots of pictures, so here are a few to document the day!
While the students were getting ready for the program, Raegan wandered up on stage and appropriately found herself chit-chatting with the choir girls.
The staff and students put on a wonderful program. Funny songs, a poem, a golden apple award, etc...
My brother and I sang a cute song for my mom at the end of the party. We re-wrote the words to "A, You're Adorable," and it was a fun way to show my mom how proud we are.
We are all so proud!
It's rare that my family all poses for a picture together, and I think this turned out pretty great!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day.
Translation: My mom's day. Also, my day.
I love my mom. For this blog post, however, I'd like to focus on the latter: My day. I don't know if it's the fact that I now raise two kids, or just that I'm still nursing around the clock (aka Sleep deprivation and raging hormones), but this Mother's Day was more important to me than in the past. What did I want? (Other than to spend the day with my family) Sleep! So when Sunday morning rolled around, Jordan got up with Raegan at 6am, then later Anabelle was removed from my room and I slept in until almost 10:00! The best gift ever! Oh sleep, how I miss you.
We did have a great day with family too! These are some fun twirling shots of Raegan and Gramma, breaking in Raegan's new ballerina PJs!

Grandma's buy the funnest presents. These pajamas came with a separate tutu!

And although it wasn't hot, persay, it was definately warm enough to play outside. For those brave enough, it was even warm enough to run through the neighbors sprinklers!
Other's chose a much cozier, warmer bathing location- the kitchen sink!
And here are a couple more cute shots from the Farmer's Market!

a great birthday.

28 28 28

I had a wonderful birthday last week~
I woke up to a latte from my hubby, had a fun time with my best friends- who had a beautiful blue necklace for me (and more coffee!), got yummy cupcakes, and had a delicious dinner out with my family. As I get older I'm realizing that although I do love presents, it's most important for me to just be with the people I love on that day. That's why my simple 28th birthday was one of my favorites.

JoeSeppi's Italian Restaurant~ VIP table!
Raegan watched them cook right from our seats.
...a great end to a great day!

Fun Dinner Date:)

The pictures speak for themselves...

...I love our friends :)

Bottles!

We've been working on feeding Anabelle a bottle every day or two, and Raegan really wanted to help feed her baby sister!
