My joy.

Raegan, my sunshine, oh how I love you. I love your scrunchy-nose-smile, lioness hair, and big brown eyes. You make my heart overflow. I treasure these days of just me and you. You amaze me daily, and I love you.

"Ca-cake"

Raegan eats pancakes for breakfast almost every day! When you ask her what she wants for breakfast, she'll say "Ca-cakes!" Last week we put on our matching aprons from Gramma and cooked together for the first time. She stood on the stool next to me and stirred the batter like a big girl. She's also been helping "do dishes" on her stool this week! aka: pouring soapy water from cup to bowl in the sink. I love this age! She is so fun!

Big shoes to fill...

Raegan dragged daddy's shoes to the living room, put them on, and stood up all by herself. I was lucky the camera was near by!

A visit from the Boley Boys.

Jordan's father and brother came out for a visit last weekend, and they had a jam-packed weekend of fun!

Chris bought us a backpack to carry Raegan from REI. It's really cool, and to my surprise, Raegan really likes riding in it- she's snuggled in, and she has a great view!

Bye Papa and Uncle! Thanks for a fun visit!

Our cozy backyard...

We have spent quite a bit of time prettying our back yard for spring and summer! We watched all the tulips come up from last year, planted some new flowers, and got several hanging flowers baskets. We also found a bird bath we like and got some new cushions for our patio furniture...

However, the biggest improvement has to be the Little Tikes play structure we bought off of Craig's List. Jordan had to drive all the way out to the middle of nowhere to pick it up...

It has been such a life-saver! Raegan has always loved to climb, but now she's big enough and strong enough to scale any piece of furniture in the house, including the kitchen table! So, we thought we should get her something safe and not "off limits" to climb on to her hearts content. And she has done just that. She loves disappearing up the tunnel and sliding down the slides! In one day she figured out how to climb onto the tall landing without using the steps, and up the tunnel. She's SO strong! On the few hot days we've had this spring, we tuck our baby pool under the end of the small slide, fill it with water and call it a water slide! She loves water, and it's so fun to watch her land in the pool and splash everywhere!
