Blossoming.

Raegan is blossoming. I feel like I'm in the presence of a little lady. She is learning about a word a day all of a sudden. Today we went to her little friend Kennedy's 1st birthday, and she learned to say Birthday and party. She sang "Birthday birthday birthday" while I sang "Happy Birthday" in the car on the way home.
I was really curious how many words she knows, so I made a list...

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!

We just got back from an amazing week-long vacation with the extended Boley family!

The 4 Boley girls: Liliana, Emma, Claire, and Raegan!
As you can imagine, Raegan adores her beautiful cousins, and she had a fun week of following them around and learning new tricks.

Grandpa and his cute little fishies.

Raegan LOVES the water! And she learned to say "water" as we were driving along the coastline looking at the ocean.

We have a beautiful little pool at our unit, and Raegan loved splashing around with us. It was the perfect set up for a toddler!

We found an incredible restaurant on our honeymoon exactly four years ago. "Edith's." It doesn't have a roof, just lanterns and stars! And they have an amazing Mariachi band. So, it has become a tradition to eat there every year and dance to the music!

This year we went horse back riding through the desert and onto the beach! It was a beautiful two hour ride in perfect weather! The girls were so brave- they each rode their own horse! (Raegan stayed behind this time.)

Another favorite restaurant is "The Office." No relation to our favorite tv show. It's on the beach, literally. You take your shoes off and dig your toes into the sand while you eat! It's right across the water from the Cabo arch.

Chris surprised us with Boley family t-shirts. The last day we took a group shot- I think it turned out really well! Raegan's tiny t-shirt was pretty darn cute hanging next to ours in the closet. Thanks Chris and Deb for a fun week in the sun!

A mouth full of teeth!

Raegan has 8 teeth now, and two more big ones on the way. I call them her "marbles" because when you reach your finger back in there, it feels like she's got two big ol' marbles under her gums. That cannot be comfortable.

Here is my funny attempt at a diagram of her mouth...
(this is more for my future reference than your reading pleasure.)

Growing, changing.

As I was fishing around in Raegan's mouth today, I found another tooth near the back that has broken through the gums! That makes a total of SIX pearly whites. And there's one about to pop through, that will create a beautiful symmetrical smile.

She's been changing so fast. She understands me more and more everyday and is fighting so hard to communicate back. Her vocabulary consists of a few very important words- Mommy, Daddy, Papa, Bath, No, Ya, "Mah" (kissing noise), bottle, bubble, and of course, Wehwo (Elmo). She's speaking sentences of garble, and it's my absolute favorite. She will open a book and "read" out loud to herself. I adore her.
